« Fast Online Graduate Degree - Make Money Much Sooner By Graduating In Under 2 Years   Need Regionally Accredited Online Colleges Facts? »

I’m a laptop user, and I don’t know what I’d do without mine. I can remember the days where I thought the desktop was king, as I couldn’t imagine life without a big keyboard and a nice sized monitor to sit behind. I received a portable computer and wasn’t happy about it at first. I didn’t see how I’d adapt to it.

While I do appreciate the benefits of a desktop, I couldn’t imagine life without my laptop at this point. I take it just about everywhere I go. It’s lightweight, and it’s as convenient as anything I could possibly need.

When I travel, it’s right there with me and I never have to worry about using USB cartridges like I had to in the past when I’d be going from place to place.

Still, there’s one thing that always gets to me, and that’s the fact that it gets extremely hot when it’s on and sitting atop my lap. I’ve never been able to get used to that, and spent a long time struggling with this issue.

Aside from the comfort issues, there are also legitimate health concerns. While the studies are inconclusive, some do exist that claim that laptop use can damage the quality of one’s sperm if used for excessive periods of time. The thought of that naturally scares me.

I looked into options, and found that some laptop cooling pads were said to deal with this issue effectively. After reading some reviews, I decided to give one a chance.

Without endorsing any specific brand or make (this will depend on the size of your unit and your overall preferences), I can say that using one makes a world of difference.

I’m a huge fan of them for this reason, and I’d absolutely recommend making a small investment for the extra comfort and safety. I have no doubt that you’ll be glad you did when all is said and done.
