Are you thinking about going back to school to earn your MBA? If so you may be wondering about the possibility of earning an MBA degree online and whether it will be as accredited as a degree that you earn at a traditional college.
Returning to school, especially for an MBA degree, can be expensive. Finding a degree program that is worth the cost and accepted with respect is certainly a consideration. There are many online learning institutions that will not only enable you to earn your MBA but also are prestigious.
Many people who have decided to go back to school lately have been earning their degrees online. No longer are correspondence courses the redheaded stepchild as employers are forced to acknowledge these degrees. It is especially important to note that most people who pursue a post graduate degree do so in their off time from work. An online education makes sense in more ways than one, especially when it comes to earning an MBA.
The academic program chosen should be through an accredited university with a well-known reputation in the work place. Some shoddy institutions may be willing to hand out degrees for a price. Avoid these institutions. An accredited online academic institution allows you to earn an MBA that will be looked upon with respect.
Many of the MBA programs online have classes that are very similar to traditional classroom settings. They give you an opportunity to listen to lectures online as well as interact with other students. The only difference is that you are doing this from the comfort of your own home, instead of a classroom setting.
E-mail, video conferencing and other technology are available to interact with cohorts in the same program. A residency will be required while earning your MBA online, similar to traditional programs.
The convenience of earning an MBA degree online still requires hard work and dedication similar to a traditional classroom oriented programs. The benefit is the ability to fit studies into a busy lifestyle while continuing employment and attending daily responsibilities. An online degree may take less time to complete than a traditional program due to the ability and options available, which will enable you to work at your own learning pace from the comfort of your own home.
Before selecting an online institution that offers the degree of choice, be sure that you know the reputation and accreditation status of that institution. This will ensure that the degree you earn, and pay for, will make advancement possible in the workforce.

If you absolutely have to take college courses online, I would choose an online college that has a main campus. There are plenty of them. I hope this helps.
Karen, I’m not sure what you mean by diploma program. That’s not something I’ve heard of so I’m guessing we don’t have that either.
As a homeschool family, you have the right to create your own diploma at the end of high school for your kids. You can also find forms online to use if you don’t want to create your own. The actual diploma isn’t what actually helps or hurts them for college so you can really do whatever you want with that. The most important thing to have is the transcript and the ACT or SAT score. Those are the things colleges will look at.
If you’re looking for a graduation ceremony, there may be a homeschool group in your area that works on things like that. Our city has a group that you can be a part of starting your junior year (I think) and they make plans for things like graduation ceremonies. It’s really pretty cool!
I don’t know if that helps at all or if I’ve totally misunderstood what you were trying to say. Hopefully this is what you meant!
It varies from school to school. Some will only accept them as elective credits and they will not allow you to use them toward your core. You will need to talk to the councilors at the schools you are planning on attending to be sure how you will be able to use them. My daughter is taking dual credit classes and the state has an agreement that all of the instate schools will accept them, however, one of the schools in the state will not allow the credits to be used toward a core. They are only considered elective. That can be a problem. If the school you attend does not accept them they are not a waste because you are learning how to think and you will be a better college student for having taken them.
If you are interested in learning a foreign language or if you are looking for foreign language materials to use in the classroom, you may want to consider checking into some of the free courses that are now being offered online by colleges, universities, and other learning institutions. Some of the organizations that currently provide free foreign language lea

I loved the chichen too. Sweet B - I usually shop ONLY sale items - and manage - with 2 ‘out of house’ meals a week for less than $100 - how - my freezer. During ’season’ I stock up on veggies - to cook off season - buying chicken only when it is super cheap - and making a roaster last 6 (Yes 6) meals minimum. I ALWAYS buy whole chickens - cutting them up when I get home - and make stews, pot pies, etc from them. I do make chicken salad for lunches - plus I ALWAYS make stock from the bones and ‘yucky’ pieces (backs, necks) - for a big pot of soup. I freeze at least one container of soup for those ’sick’ days - of flu etc that growing boys get. By the way - I am feeding 6 - 22, 19, 15, 14 and us (mom and dad). We can afford more - but use the savings for family vacations on cruise ships - with two rooms - one for us - one for the boys. As my college senior says- man - you have managed to send us to private school, great colleges, and have fun - for so little! Keep up the good work - you can find lots of cool recipes online to stretch that dollar.

Chief Seattle and Sisyphus,
Miles here again, the poster who speculated about Church bunnies and SWPLS….
Let me tell you two how I see it, just from my observations:
The generation of Americans born from roughly 1960-1975 still believed the media, and still sent their kids to college with naivete’, and still saw many of their kids turn SWPL on them, so the SWPL culture which emanated primarily from the professorariate, and later the media, swayed many of them to wander from their upbringings.
Now, SWPL culture, with its childlessness, endless nights at clubs, late marriages, divorces and attendent financial distress for the male, is pretty well-known to all. Many less people are inclined to believe the media, and know exactly where the professors are coming from. In fact, the trend toward online schooling amongst males is only going to increase as brick-and-mortar colleges keep increasing tuition.
Churches and religious entities set up single’s websites to help religious teenagers and young adults find each other and marry also. I think you will see some kind of bounce in the religous birthrates, especially as the media cheerleads the wide-open importation of the other, and the media can no longer lecture these people on things like "overpopulation".
My subdivision is hemmed in by a mega-church and another medium sized church. The kids are legion. If I had to guess the birthrate of the big church from the parking lot……..I’d have to say its three per female or thereabouts. I see now way, given no-fault divorce, that the SWPL birthrates are going to be reaching replacement levels. There is just way too much for a man to lose unless his wife believes divorce is morally (religiously) wrong.
In other words, blue state SWPLS will still breed at about 1.5 children per female for the next 20 years, and any increase in the white blue state birthrate will be amongst religious whites in those states. Churchs and religious organizations are doing a much better job (other than me, most of my extended family goes to church—-yes, Im the black sheep with goat horns) of providing a extended social life for their adherents via the internet and other tools, and keeping them out of the bars and the single life, so they intermarry with each other earlier than rather than late. I suppose they are copping the mormons or whatever, but I would predict that the religous will be doing a much better job of circling their wagons in the future than what they did in the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s, when they really were seeing an exodus of their youth.
One commenter pointed out that many churches are pro-open borders. My response is that many are also opposed to illegal immigration, and would not vet a candidate who enforced the border and immigration law.
Question for all…….What in the hell are we going to do when technology (robots—see videos on youtube about them) can do most of the stuff illegals are doing? Put all the illegals on welfare? Progress, probably via the Japanese, is coming no matter what. The wealthy may not need that day maid in 10 more years……
