Homeschooling your kid has its many challenges, so make sure you are prepared for it.

- There is no need to follow the curriculum closely. Be flexible and focus on the learning process. It is important that the homeschooling journey is enjoyable.

- Always use example when you teach.

- Most children hate writing, and therefore extra care must be given during the teaching. Guide the children in their thinking process and it will help them greatly.

- Let the kid develop at their own speed. Do not force them into anything.

- Switch off the TV, radio or computer during lessons. This will give your child focus and the opportunity to learn and explore more. They also need to respect that there is time for fun and there is time for learning.
